Borya Potapov vs Vasili Kovalik

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Russia-Samara Oblast promoted show at Alik Afinogenov Gym, Samara,  taking place on 30/08/2028:

Clearly AI Russia-Samara Oblast have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Russia-Samara Oblast Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Borya Potapov (10 - 13 - 6) who hails from Tolyatti, Russia and Vasili Kovalik(17 - 11 - 2) from Samara, Russia.  Potapov weighed in at 129 pounds and 15 ounces, while Kovalik weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gennady Prudnikov, and the three ringside judges are Fadei Simonich, Ioakim Petrowski and Fedar Berezutski.
