Claude Van der Merwe vs Kris Mkhize

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Western Cape promoted show at Mitchells Plain Van Blerk, Mitchells Plain,  taking place on 30/08/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the South Africa-Western Cape Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Claude Van der Merwe (10(1) - 1 - 1) who hails from Mitchells Plain, South Africa and Kris Mkhize(9 - 17(1) - 3) from Cape Town, South Africa.  Van der Merwe weighed in at 223 pounds And 9 ounces, while Mkhize weighed in at 238 pounds And 6 ounces.
