Conor Lipton vs Paul Rolland

Boxing Daily Report from the Louie Lefevre promoted show at Piccadilly Hotel, Manchester,  taking place on 11/08/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Conor Lipton (1 - 0) who hails from Londonderry, UK and Paul Rolland(0 - 2) from Carlisle, UK.  Lipton weighed in at 168 pounds, while Rolland weighed in at 167 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Euan Culbertson, and the three ringside judges are Jonathan Dunn, Wayne Atcheson and Robert Ewings.  

Round 1: 

Lipton advances into close range.  Rolland pivots to the right of his opponent.  Lipton drives a left hook into Rolland's liver.  Lipton ties up his opponent.  Lipton pushes his forearm into Rolland's face.  The referee warns Lipton and breaks the clinch.

Lipton forces Rolland to back into the red corner.  Lipton hits home with a right hook.
