Pol Bosman vs Laken Chikunga

Boxing Daily Report from the Ssenjovu Promotions promoted show at Uzoma Adade Gym, Durban,  taking place on 29/08/2028:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the South Africa-KwaZulu-Natal Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Pol Bosman (7 - 2 - 1) who hails from Durban, South Africa and Laken Chikunga(16(1) - 8 - 4) from Umlazi, South Africa.  Both Bosman and Chikunga weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Thuso Ledwaba, and the three ringside judges are Sam Van Onselen, Cody Fuani and Louis Muamba.  

Round 1: 

Bosman advances into close range.  Chikunga sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Chikunga steps inside.  Bosman throws a left hook, but Chikunga holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Chikunga pushes his forearm into Bosman's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Chikunga.
