Yannick Belcourt vs Barry Steven

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at New City Gas, Montreal,  taking place on 02/09/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Yannick Belcourt (11(2) - 1) who hails from Nantes, France and Barry Steven(6(3) - 0) from Calgary, Canada.  Both Belcourt and Steven weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Erec Adore, and the three ringside judges are Aramis Duvauchelle, Johnny Smith and Olier Paradis.  

Round 1: 

Belcourt switches the action to the outside.  Steven tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.
