Goker Melek vs Kudret Meric

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Turkey-Istanbul promoted show at Istanbul Gokalp, Istanbul,  taking place on 02/09/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Turkey Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on NTV Spor, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Goker Melek (21 - 9 - 1) who hails from Istanbul, Turkey and Kudret Meric(18 - 2) from Gaziantep, Turkey.  Melek weighed in at 135 pounds, while Meric weighed in at 134 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Iskender Akdemir, and the three ringside judges are Cemil Barak, Iskander Beg and Onur Sabuncu.  

Round 1: 

Meric advances into close range and lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.
