Darryl Wright vs Jay Appleby

Boxing Daily Report from the Carson Lelis promoted show at San Bernardino Pumphrey, San Bernardino,  taking place on 31/08/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Pacific Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Darryl Wright (14 - 7(1) - 3) who hails from Los Angeles, USA and Jay Appleby(7 - 12(1) - 1) from San Francisco, USA.  Both Wright and Appleby weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Daniel Weir, and the three ringside judges are Andy Johnson, Mark Hyland and Obaid Abdelnour.  

Round 1: 

Wright steps inside.  Wright pivots to the right of his opponent and drives a left uppercut into Appleby's liver.
