Dave Dobbin vs Edward Evans

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Arizona promoted show at Phoenix Fife, Phoenix,  taking place on 31/08/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Arizona Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dave Dobbin (12 - 10(1) - 1) who hails from Phoenix, USA and Edward Evans(9 - 14) from Mesa, USA.  Both Dobbin and Evans weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lloyd Dougal, and the three ringside judges are Lloyd Findlay, Zachary Hunter and Antwan Carson.  

Round 1: 

Evans tries to keep the action at long range.  Dobbin is on target with a jab.  
Evans switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand left.  
Dobbin is looking to close the distance.  Dobbin quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Evans lands a right hook.  
Evans feints a left, and then digs in a right hook to Dobbin's ribs.  
As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Evans dabs at his face checking for damage.
