Ian McCrary vs Ian Guffy

Boxing Daily Report from the Mandale Boxing Promotions promoted show at Melbourne White, Melbourne,  taking place on 03/09/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Australia-Victoria Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WIN, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ian McCrary (6 - 3 - 5) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Ian Guffy(3 - 0) from Melbourne, Australia.  Both McCrary and Guffy weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alastair MacIntyre, and the three ringside judges are Aaron Hadjinyan, Sammy Lorimer and Gethin Mitchell.  

Round 1: 

Guffy advances into close range and throws a right uppercut, but the shot is blocked.  Guffy ties up his opponent.  Guffy is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Guffy to stop fouling.  
Guffy lands a jab.  
Guffy gets on the inside and is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Guffy attempts to land a left hook, but McCrary slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Guffy steps inside.  McCrary throws a left hook, but Guffy ties up his opponent.  Guffy leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Guffy pushes his forearm into McCrary's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Guffy about fouling.  
Guffy lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.
