Paul MacDuff vs Lewis Murphy

Boxing Daily Report from the Louie Lefevre promoted show at Piccadilly Hotel, Manchester,  taking place on 11/08/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Paul MacDuff (0 - 0) who hails from Derby, UK and Lewis Murphy(0 - 2) from London, UK.  MacDuff weighed in at 139 pounds and 13 ounces, while Murphy weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Euan Culbertson, and the three ringside judges are Jonathan Dunn, Wayne Atcheson and Robert Ewings.  

Round 1: 

Murphy steps inside.  MacDuff pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.

MacDuff sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
MacDuff pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a spiteful jab.  
Murphy steps inside and forces MacDuff to back into the ropes.  MacDuff lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Murphy manages to force MacDuff into the red corner.  MacDuff hits home with a cross.  MacDuff attempts to land a jab, but Murphy slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
MacDuff closes the distance.  MacDuff sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
MacDuff hits home with a right hook.  
MacDuff pivots to the left of his opponent and digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
MacDuff lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Murphy walks MacDuff into a corner.  MacDuff connects with a cross.  
MacDuff is looking to close the distance.  MacDuff pivots from in front of his opponent and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Murphy gets on the inside.  MacDuff sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Murphy's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Murphy's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Murphy's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Murphy steps inside and throws a right hook, but MacDuff holds on to his opponent.  MacDuff pushes his forearm into Murphy's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns MacDuff.  
MacDuff is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
MacDuff lands a jab.  
MacDuff lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
MacDuff hits home with a cross.  
MacDuff drives a spiteful jab into his opponents face.
