Loredo Rivera vs Santiago Sierra

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Tamaulipas promoted show at Vicente Delgadillo Gym, Ciudad Victoria,  taking place on 05/09/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Mexico-Tamaulipas Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Loredo Rivera (13 - 6(3) - 3) who hails from Matamoros, Mexico and Santiago Sierra(9(1) - 0 - 1) from Ciudad Victoria, Mexico.  Rivera weighed in at 139 pounds and 15 ounces, while Sierra weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Lopez, and the three ringside judges are Francisco Rigor, Angel Albo and Diego Toro.  

Round 1: 

Rivera advances into close range and digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Sierra lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Rivera steps to the outside and connects with an overhand right.  
Rivera tries to keep the action at long range and attempts to land a cross, but Sierra sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Rivera closes the distance and walks Sierra down, trapping him on the ropes.  Sierra hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Rivera closes the distance.  Sierra lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Sierra clinches his opponent.  Sierra pushes his forearm into Rivera's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Sierra about fouling.
