Farhan Javid vs Davie Gerou

Boxing Daily Report from the Howe Out promoted show at Michael Malloye Gym, Sydney,  taking place on 10/09/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Australia-New South Wales Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Farhan Javid (4 - 5 - 6) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Davie Gerou(5 - 8 - 2) from Sydney, Australia.  Both Javid and Gerou weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Steven Webb, and the three ringside judges are Richard Bean, David Corrie and Neil Malis.  

Round 1: 

Gerou steps inside and is on target with a left hook.

It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Javid.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
