Michi Furuta vs Eiji Kubo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hyogo promoted show at Kobe Kawata, Kobe,  taking place on 11/09/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Hyogo Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Michi Furuta (14 - 6 - 4) who hails from Amagasaki, Japan and Eiji Kubo(15 - 9 - 1) from Kobe, Japan.  Both Furuta and Kubo weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hisao Furuta, and the three ringside judges are Kazuhiko Fujii, Hisoka Iida and Hajime Nishioka.  

Round 1: 

Kubo lands a cross.  
Furuta steps to the outside.  Kubo tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
