Shing Tay vs Sun Zong

Boxing Daily Report from the AI China-Jiangsu promoted show at Zhu Ing Gym, Nanjing,  taking place on 12/09/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the China-Jiangsu Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Shing Tay (15(3) - 1(1)) who hails from Nanjing, China and Sun Zong(3 - 8 - 1) from Nanjing, China.  Both Tay and Zong weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Deshi Yep, and the three ringside judges are Liko Shih, Gao Jo and Wu-pen Tsao.  

Round 1: 

Zong attempts to land a jab, but Tay sidesteps and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Tay walks Zong down, trapping him on the ropes.  Zong throws a left hook, but Tay ties up his opponent.  Tay leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Tay lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Tay ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Tay pushes his forearm into Zong's face.  The ref breaks Tay's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Tay advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Tay manages to force Zong into a corner.  Tay connects with a left hook.  As Zong tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Tay dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Tay digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  Tay holds on to his opponent.  Tay leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Tay is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Zong forces Tay to retreat into the corner.  Tay connects with a solid cross.

Tay feints a left, and then is on target with a jab.  
Tay closes the distance and drives a right hook into Zong's ribcage.
