Rodrigo Manjarrez vs Ponce Mejias

Boxing Daily Report from the Yalley Promotions promoted show at Jax Bolivar Gym, Guayaquil,  taking place on 18/08/2028:

Clearly Yalley Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ecuador-Guayas Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rodrigo Manjarrez (15 - 8 - 5) who hails from Guayaquil, Ecuador and Ponce Mejias(14 - 9(3) - 3) from Guayaquil, Ecuador.  Manjarrez weighed in at 112 pounds and 11 ounces, while Mejias weighed in at 112 pounds.    As Manjarrez came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Sagaz Ancheta, and the three ringside judges are Roman Parrilla, Pedro Solis and Venacio Riquelme.
