Joaquin Negron vs Ramirez Merlin

Boxing Daily Report from the AI El Salvador-San Salvador promoted show at San Salvador Damaso, San Salvador,  taking place on 18/08/2028:

Clearly AI El Salvador-San Salvador have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the El Salvador-San Salvador Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Canal 17, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joaquin Negron (4 - 9 - 2) who hails from San Salvador, El Salvador and Ramirez Merlin(6(2) - 4) from Apopa, El Salvador.  Both Negron and Merlin weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lorenzo Rodriguez, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Triana, Angel Munos and Juan Navar.
