Kimmo Joki vs Elo Pelkonen

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Finland-Uusimaa promoted show at Espoo Hinkkanen, Espoo,  taking place on 19/08/2028:

Clearly AI Finland-Uusimaa have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Finland-Uusimaa Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kimmo Joki (12 - 2 - 2) who hails from Helsinki, Finland and Elo Pelkonen(11 - 12 - 3) from Espoo, Finland.  Both Joki and Pelkonen weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Eemil Porkka, and the three ringside judges are Heimo Airikkala, Samu Petaja and Kaarlo Nurmela.  

Round 1: 

Joki advances into close range and lands a left hook.  
Joki closes the distance and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Pelkonen is looking to keep his distance.  Joki lands an overhand left.  
Pelkonen lands a jab to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Joki gets on the inside and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Pelkonen steps to the outside.  Joki drives a cross into his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Joki's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Joki's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Pelkonen's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.

Joki is looking to close the distance.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Joki dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Joki.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Pelkonen feints a left hook, but Joki does not fall for it and is on target with a cross.  
Pelkonen is looking to keep his distance.  Joki lands a cross.

Pelkonen is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Joki sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands an overhand right.
