Merrick Alker vs Connie Manthei

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Germany-Hesse promoted show at Aurik Heiserman Gym, Kassel,  taking place on 19/09/2028:

Clearly AI Germany-Hesse have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Germany-Hesse Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Merrick Alker (5 - 4) who hails from Wiesbaden, Germany and Connie Manthei(5 - 2) from Frankfurt, Germany.  Both Alker and Manthei weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mathias Pfrommer, and the three ringside judges are Koen Gehrmann, Altmann Delp and Thebault Dehnert.  

Round 1: 

Alker is looking to close the distance.  Manthei pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut.
