Richie Kuan vs Atif Rauf

Boxing Daily Report from the Sultan's Fists promoted show at Syeun Hotel, Ipoh,  taking place on 16/09/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Richie Kuan (1 - 0) who hails from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Atif Rauf(6 - 12 - 1) from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  Kuan weighed in at 146 pounds and 14 ounces, while Rauf weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jawad Shah, and the three ringside judges are Haider Din, Sajid Mustafa and Syed Khan.  

Round 1: 

Rauf steps to the outside.  Kuan finds the target with a jab.

Rauf throws a right hook, but Kuan ties up his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Kuan lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Kuan advances into close range and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Kuan closes the distance and digs in a left hook to Rauf's ribs.  Kuan clinches his opponent.  Kuan leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.

Kuan forces Rauf to retreat into the corner.  Kuan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Rauf throws a left uppercut, but Kuan ties up his opponent. Kuan gets on the inside.  Rauf throws a left hook, but Kuan ties up his opponent.  Kuan is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
