Rob Wyly vs David Ronnie

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Robina Stadium, Gold Coast,  taking place on 28/10/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Rob Wildman Wyly (5(2) - 1) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and David Ronnie(12 - 4(1) - 1) from Perth, Australia.  Both Wyly and Ronnie weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mel Culp, and the three ringside judges are Ian Rabb, Rob Gollon and Corey Pait.  

Round 1: 

Ronnie is looking to close the distance.  Ronnie sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Wyly is on target with a right hook.  
Ronnie pivots to the right of his opponent.  Wyly drives a stinging left hook into his opponents body.  Wyly clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Ronnie pushes his forearm into Wyly's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Ronnie.  
Wyly finds the target with a stiff jab.  
Wyly is looking to close the distance.  Ronnie pivots to the left of his opponent.  Ronnie throws a right hook, but Wyly ties up his opponent.  Wyly pushes his forearm into Ronnie's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Wyly to stop fouling.  
Ronnie switches the action to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Wyly blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Ronnie tries to land a jab, but Wyly slips the shot and counters with a stinging left hook to Ronnie's body.  
Ronnie hits home with a left hook.  
Wyly forces Ronnie to back into the ropes.  Wyly digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Ronnie closes the distance.  Wyly attempts to land a right hook, but Ronnie blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Ronnie steps to the outside and tries to land an overhand left, but Wyly blocks the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Ronnie steps away from his opponent and attempts to land an overhand left, but Wyly slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Ronnie steps inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Ronnie throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Wyly lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.
