Boxing Daily Report from the Konga Promotions promoted show at Konga Gym, Nairobi,  taking place on 22/09/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Kenya-Nairobi Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nuru Verjee (14 - 7(1) - 1) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Steven Chepchirchir(19 - 2) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Both Verjee and Chepchirchir weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kyrone Koimbori, and the three ringside judges are Billy Tumbo, Paul Changeywo and Rex Odhieng.
