Ramirez Ponce vs Ovidio Lira

Boxing Daily Report from the Yeray Heras promoted show at Federico Guerra Gym, Guadalupe,  taking place on 26/08/2028:

Clearly Yeray Heras have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Nuevo Leon Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ramirez Ponce (16 - 11) who hails from Ciudad Apodaca, Mexico and Ovidio Lira(9 - 8 - 4) from Guadalupe, Mexico.  Ponce weighed in at 147 pounds, while Lira weighed in at 146 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Baltasar Salome, and the three ringside judges are Guido Castilla, Cortez Gloria and Guido Castilla.  

Round 1: 

Lira throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
