Ian Powell vs David Hanlin

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Auckland promoted show at Waitakere Mollison, Waitakere,  taking place on 23/09/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ian Powell (11 - 6 - 1) who hails from North Shore, New Zealand and David Hanlin(7 - 1) from Waitakere, New Zealand.  Both Powell and Hanlin weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Henry Ngahoro, and the three ringside judges are Joey Bridgeforth, Robert Smillie and Blake Brown.  

Round 1: 

Hanlin is looking to close the distance and hits home with a right hook.  
Hanlin manages to force Powell into a neutral corner.  Powell throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
