Sid Goodlett vs Mark Barmore

Boxing Daily Report from the T5 Promotions promoted show at Ian Simrell Gym, Auckland,  taking place on 26/09/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sid Goodlett (5 - 3) who hails from Manukau, New Zealand and Mark Barmore(13 - 7 - 3) from Auckland, New Zealand.  Both Goodlett and Barmore weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Matthew Chisholm, and the three ringside judges are Brin Stackpole, Mike Sproule and Ellis Raharuhi.  

Round 1: 

Goodlett tries to keep the action at long range.  Barmore sidesteps to the right of his opponent and attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Goodlett time to recover.  
Barmore sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Goodlett lands a left hook.  
Goodlett switches the action to the outside.  Barmore attempts to land a cross, but Goodlett slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Barmore closes the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Barmore hits home with a right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Barmore's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.
