Rob Thaw vs Lee Whitehead

Boxing Daily Report from the RJS Promotions promoted show at Vodafone Event Centre, Auckland,  taking place on 07/10/2028:

Clearly RJS Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rob Thaw (7 - 0) who hails from Manukau, New Zealand and Lee Whitehead(11 - 5 - 3) from Waitakere, New Zealand.  Thaw weighed in at 153 pounds and 4 ounces, while Whitehead weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Colin Lawder, and the three ringside judges are Kyle Stine, Chris Heretini and Harvey Dorch.  

Round 1: 

Whitehead feints a jab, but Thaw ignores the feint and is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.
