Iskander Albayrak vs Altan Ghanem

Boxing Daily Report from the Bonga Promotions promoted show at Can Sarigul Gym, Gaziantep,  taking place on 01/10/2028:

Clearly Bonga Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Turkey-Gaziantep Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Iskander Albayrak (12(2) - 1) who hails from Gaziantep, Turkey and Altan Ghanem(6 - 6(1) - 2) from Gaziantep, Turkey.  Albayrak weighed in at 175 pounds, while Ghanem weighed in at 174 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Cumhur Haznedaroglu, and the three ringside judges are Suleyman Oray, Murat Ayik and Ozgur Bakkal.  

Round 1: 

Albayrak is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Albayrak forces Ghanem to back into a corner.  Albayrak lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Albayrak lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
The right shot from Albayrak could be enough to force the stoppage!  Albayrak lands a left hook followed by  two straights to his opponents head, AND SENDS GHANEM TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  It looks like Ghanem has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Albayrak lands a firm right hook.  
Ghanem voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Albayrak steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  
Albayrak lands a stinging right uppercut.  Albayrak holds on to his opponent.  Albayrak is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Albayrak and breaks the clinch.  
Ghanem steps to the outside.  Albayrak sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Ghanem recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Albayrak closes the distance and is on target with a right hook.  Albayrak ties up his opponent.  Albayrak is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Albayrak about fouling.  
Albayrak lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Albayrak advances into close range.  Ghanem throws a right hook, but Albayrak ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Albayrak pushes his forearm into Ghanem's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Albayrak about fouling.  
Albayrak gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Albayrak senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Ghanem and just needs the right shot.  Albayrak lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND DROPS GHANEM TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  
Albayrak lands two right hook's to the body followed by a cross to the head, AND DROPS GHANEM TO THE CANVAS!  The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Ghanem can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Albayrak!
