Waqas Nasiri vs Marjohan Djagom

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Indonesia-South Sumatra promoted show at Palembang Mandowen, Palembang,  taking place on 03/10/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Indonesia-South Sumatra Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Indosiar, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Waqas Nasiri (18(3) - 2) who hails from Palembang, Indonesia and Marjohan Djagom(13 - 11(1) - 3) from Palembang, Indonesia.  Nasiri weighed in at 112 pounds, while Djagom weighed in at 111 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Sapto Ramdhan, and the three ringside judges are Nugi Setya, Haaris Masood and Imam Sakti.  

Round 1: 

Nasiri steps inside and throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the punch.  Nasiri clinches his opponent.  Nasiri tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Djagom behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Nasiri.  
Nasiri closes the distance and is on target with a firm right hook to Djagom's ribs.  
Djagom is looking to keep his distance.  Nasiri lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Nasiri closes the distance.  Djagom throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.

Nasiri sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Nasiri is on target with a firm right uppercut to Djagom's body.  Nasiri clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks Nasiri's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Djagom is looking to keep his distance.  Nasiri lands a firm cross.  
Nasiri gets on the inside and forces Djagom to retreat into a corner.  Nasiri drives a right hook into Djagom's ribcage.  
Nasiri pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Nasiri connects with a left hook.  
Nasiri digs in a stinging right hook to Djagom's ribs.  
Djagom throws a left hook, but Nasiri ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Nasiri pushes his forearm into Djagom's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Nasiri advances into close range.  Djagom throws a right hook, but Nasiri clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Nasiri pushes his forearm into Djagom's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Nasiri about fouling.  
Nasiri forces Djagom to back into a corner.  Nasiri lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.

Nasiri is on target with a sharp right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  Nasiri clinches his opponent.  Nasiri is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Nasiri manages to force Djagom into a neutral corner.  Nasiri sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Nasiri lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Djagom tries to keep the action at long range.  Nasiri hits home with an overhand right.  
Nasiri closes the distance.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Nasiri has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Nasiri lands a firm left hook.  
Nasiri walks his opponent into a neutral corner.  Nasiri lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

Nasiri lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Nasiri steps inside and digs in a left uppercut to Djagom's body.  Nasiri holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Nasiri pushes his forearm into Djagom's face.  The referee warns Nasiri and breaks the clinch.  
Nasiri closes the distance and digs in a right uppercut to Djagom's body.  Nasiri clinches his opponent.  Nasiri leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The referee breaks up the clinch and lectures Nasiri to stop holding.  
Nasiri cuts off the ring, trapping Djagom in the blue corner.  Nasiri hits home with a weighty left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE DJAGOM WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Nasiri stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Nasiri lands a left uppercut followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head.  It looks like Djagom has now recovered from that shot earlier.
