Lao-Tzu Hsiao vs Andy Madigan

Boxing Daily Report from the Magicman Promotions promoted show at Magicman Gym, Dublin,  taking place on 12/09/2028:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Lao-Tzu Hsiao (29(28) - 0 - 1) who hails from Zigong, China and Andy Madigan(6 - 14(3) - 1) from Dublin, Ireland.  Both Hsiao and Madigan weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Clinton MacAdam, and the three ringside judges are Fionn Donnell, Lee Taggart and Rob Nesmith.  

Round 1: 

Hsiao is on target with a stinging overhand left.  
Hsiao EXPLODES a big cross into his opponents face.  MADIGAN IS HURT!  Madigan almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Hsiao is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He then lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Hsiao lands a stiff jab.  
Hsiao feints a left, and then lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Hsiao lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Madigan sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Hsiao is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  Hsiao clinches his opponent.  Hsiao pushes his forearm into Madigan's face.  The ref breaks Hsiao's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Hsiao is looking to keep the action on the outside and drives a solid jab into his opponents face.  
Madigan closes the distance and walks Hsiao down, trapping him on the ropes.  Hsiao lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Hsiao is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Hsiao sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a firm cross.  
Hsiao feints a jab, and then lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Hsiao lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Hsiao contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Madigan throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging cross.  
Hsiao is looking to keep his distance.  Hsiao sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Madigan closes the distance.  Hsiao quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Hsiao digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Hsiao ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Hsiao pushes his forearm into Madigan's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Madigan manages to force Hsiao onto the ropes.  Hsiao lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Hsiao lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Hsiao holds on to his opponent.  Hsiao pushes his forearm into Madigan's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Hsiao to stop fouling.  
Hsiao tries to step out of his opponents range.  Hsiao feints a left, and then lands with a ramrod jab.  
Hsiao feints a cross, and then lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Hsiao lands a spiteful jab.  
Hsiao feints a jab, and then lands a cross, overhand left and a jab to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Madigan almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Hsiao lands a jab to the head, a cross to the head and a jab to the body.  
Madigan is looking to close the distance.  Hsiao drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Madigan's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Madigan's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Madigan's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Madigan's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Hsiao feints a left hook, and then hits home with a hard jab.  
Hsiao lands two straights followed by an overhand left to his opponents head, DROPPING MADIGAN TO THE CANVAS!  The count reaches 10, but Madigan is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Hsiao!
