Jake Namono vs David Rafferty

Boxing Daily Report from the Magicman Promotions promoted show at Magicman Gym, Dublin,  taking place on 12/09/2028:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Jake Katonda Namono (19(15) - 0) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and David Rafferty(2 - 5(1)) from Naperville, USA.  Namono weighed in at 129 pounds And 9 ounces, while Rafferty weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Clinton MacAdam, and the three ringside judges are Fionn Donnell, Lee Taggart and Rob Nesmith.  

Round 1: 

Namono lands a jab to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Namono pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a jab followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Namono tries to keep the action at long range and lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Namono tries to step out of his opponents range and lands an overhand right followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Rafferty's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Rafferty's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Namono waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Rafferty attempts to land a jab, but Namono parries the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Namono feints a right hook, and then lands a stiff jab.  
Namono tries to step out of his opponents range.  Rafferty sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Namono lands with a solid jab.  
Namono snaps his opponents head back with a hard jab.  
Namono lands with a solid jab.  
Namono tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Namono lands a right hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Namono lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.

Namono leans on his opponent using all his weight. Namono is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Namono about fouling.  
Rafferty manouvers Namono into a corner.  Namono is on target with a cross.  
Rafferty sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Namono digs in a right hook to his opponents ribs.

Namono is on target with a cross.  
Namono steps to the outside and EXPLODES a HUGE cross into his opponents face.  RAFFERTY IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  HE FAILS TO BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Namono!
