Josh McAffee vs Paco Virgen

Boxing Daily Report from the Magicman Promotions promoted show at Magicman Gym, Dublin,  taking place on 13/09/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Jason Mcateer Josh McAffee (18 - 0) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Paco Virgen(1 - 7(1)) from Caracas, Venezuela.  Both McAffee and Virgen weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rory Finnegan, and the three ringside judges are Steven Stewart, Leon Finnin and Joshua Dermott.  

Round 1: 

McAffee sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
McAffee tries to keep the action at long range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Virgen closes the distance and throws a right uppercut, but McAffee holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Virgen pushes his forearm into McAffee's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

McAffee retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Virgen is whaling away with hooks, but McAffee keeps his defence tight.  Virgen connects with a left hook.  
Virgen gets on the inside.  Virgen quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  McAffee lands a left hook.  
Virgen quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Virgen attempts to land a jab, but McAffee slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
