Clint Kennon vs Dave Boas

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at American Airlines Arena, Miami,  taking place on 25/11/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Clint The KO Kid Kennon (14(8) - 0) who hails from San Jose, USA and Dave Boas(15(2) - 5(4) - 1) from Fort Smith, USA.  Both Kennon and Boas weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Max Merrick, and the three ringside judges are Xaverius Vea, Arran Huntress and Edmundo Celio.  

Round 1: 

Boas is looking to close the distance.  Kennon attempts to land a right hook, but Boas blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Boas advances into close range and drives a left uppercut into Kennon's body.  Boas throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp cross.

Boas steps inside.  Kennon senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Boas and just needs the right shot.  Kennon connects with a FEROCIOUS left hook.  BOAS IS DOWN!  HE TRIES TO RISE ON SHAKY LEGS BUT BOAS CAN'T BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Kennon!
