Eti Koni vs Dai Pohopohe

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Auckland promoted show at Manukau Freebairn, Manukau,  taking place on 05/10/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Eti Koni (11 - 6 - 4) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Dai Pohopohe(11 - 7 - 2) from Waitakere, New Zealand.  Koni weighed in at 112 pounds, while Pohopohe weighed in at 111 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mark Kinzey, and the three ringside judges are Corey Hopper, Waraki Kawau and Henry Ngahoro.
