Denton Messer vs Hugh Penney

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Barclays Center, New York City,  taking place on 14/10/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Denton Messer (24 - 3) who hails from Houston, USA and Hugh Penney(24 - 2) from Cedar Rapids, USA.  Messer weighed in at 226 pounds and 7 ounces, while Penney weighed in at 232 pounds and 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Lucas Scollard, and the three ringside judges are Joshua Ferguson, Richard Denholm and Mike Dever.  

Round 1:
