Vince Rafferty vs Spencer Peavey

Boxing Daily Report from the ADR Boxing promoted show at Perth Arena, Perth,  taking place on 31/10/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Australia Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Vince Rafferty (16(7) - 0) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Spencer Peavey(13(2) - 3) from Perth, Australia.  Both Rafferty and Peavey weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul MacNab, and the three ringside judges are Daniel Norman, Paul MacNab and Noel Berwick.  

Round 1: 

Peavey sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands with a spiteful jab.  
Rafferty gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Rafferty lands a cross.  
Peavey steps to the outside.  Rafferty lands a stinging overhand left.  Rafferty attempts to land an overhand right, but Peavey slips the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Rafferty steps inside and is on target with a firm right hook to Peavey's body.  
Rafferty drives a stinging right uppercut into Peavey's body.  
Peavey tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab, overhand left and a jab to his opponents head.  
Peavey is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Rafferty tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Peavey connects with a cross.  
Peavey steps away from his opponent.  Peavey feints a right hook, and then lands a hard jab.  
Rafferty is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Peavey switches the action to the outside and drives a spiteful jab into his opponents face.  
Peavey is on target with a cross.  Peavey tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Peavey lands with a ramrod jab.  
Rafferty gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Peavey is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with a solid cross.  
Peavey switches the action to the outside.  Peavey drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Rafferty is on target with a sharp cross.  
Rafferty digs in a sharp left uppercut to Peavey's body.  
Peavey switches the action to the outside and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  Peavey attempts to land a cross, but Rafferty blocks the shot and counters with a solid left hook to his opponents liver.  
Rafferty connects with a DESTRUCTIVE right hook.  PEAVEY IS HURT!  Peavey almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Peavey lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Rafferty steps inside and EXPLODES a HUGE left hook into his opponents face.  PEAVEY IS HURT!  Peavey recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Peavey attempts to land a jab, but Rafferty sidesteps and counters with a solid right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Rafferty walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Rafferty connects with a right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Peavey's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Rafferty gets on the inside and lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Rafferty throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.

Peavey pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a stinging left hook.

Peavey pivots to the left of his opponent.  Rafferty lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Rafferty manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Rafferty sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a solid right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Rafferty lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Rafferty lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Rafferty knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Rafferty lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a double left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS PEAVEY SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Rafferty!
