John Erwin vs John Elliot

Boxing Daily Report from the Hennessy Boxing promoted show at Westpac, Melbourne,  taking place on 28/10/2028:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Australia Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are John Erwin (9 - 0 - 1) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and John Elliot(6 - 0 - 1) from Sydney, Australia.  Erwin weighed in at 105 pounds, while Elliot weighed in at 104 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Sammy Lorimer, and the three ringside judges are Ian Niven, Nathan Savas and Aaron Hadjinyan.
