Fumio Seto vs Akira Kubo

Boxing Daily Report from the Nishimiya Promotions promoted show at Nishimiya Gym, Ichinomiya,  taking place on 14/09/2028:

Clearly Nishimiya Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Fumio Seto (2 - 0) who hails from Yokohama, Japan and Akira Kubo(2 - 9(1) - 1) from Yokohama, Japan.  Seto weighed in at 168 pounds, while Kubo weighed in at 167 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Hideki Kawasaki, and the three ringside judges are Yuji Tanaka, Aoi Imada and Daiki Tsutsumi.  

Round 1: 

Seto steps inside.  Seto connects with a right hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kubo dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Seto hits home with a sharp left hook.  
Kubo is looking to keep his distance.  Seto lands with a solid jab.  Seto attempts to land a cross, but Kubo sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.

Kubo is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Seto lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Seto advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Seto gets on the inside and lands a sharp left hook.  Seto clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Seto pushes his forearm into Kubo's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Seto manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Seto pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Seto throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Seto clinches his opponent.  Seto throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Seto to stop fouling.  
Seto lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Seto connects with a left hook.  
Seto steps inside and lands a right hook.  
Seto is looking to close the distance.  Kubo throws a left uppercut, but Seto holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Seto pushes his forearm into Kubo's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Seto.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kubo's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Kubo's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.
