Jose Bravo vs Quiqui Novo

Boxing Daily Report from the Nalubamba Promotions promoted show at Salvador Cirino, Salvador,  taking place on 14/09/2028:

Clearly Nalubamba Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Brazil-Bahia Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jose Bravo (16(1) - 7) who hails from Salvador, Brazil and Quiqui Novo(3 - 10 - 4) from Salvador, Brazil.  Bravo weighed in at 159 pounds and 15 ounces, while Novo weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ivan Pinta, and the three ringside judges are Ora Gomes, Montana Ramo and Lorenzo Serafin.  

Round 1: 

Bravo closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Bravo holds on to his opponent.  Bravo is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Bravo and breaks the clinch.

Bravo advances into close range.  Novo pivots from in front of his opponent.  Novo throws a left hook, but Bravo holds on to his opponent.  Bravo uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Novo behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Bravo.
