Paul Nopendi vs John Glackin

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Robina Stadium, Gold Coast,  taking place on 25/11/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Asia-Oceania Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Paul Hands of Stone Nopendi (28(22) - 1) who hails from Bekasi, Indonesia and John Glackin(9 - 3(3) - 2) from Perth, Australia.  Both Nopendi and Glackin weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Taggert, and the three ringside judges are Dave Evan, Ewan Duffy and John Taggart.  

Round 1: 

Nopendi closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Nopendi pivots to the left of his opponent.  Nopendi lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Nopendi ties up his opponent.  Nopendi pushes his forearm into Glackin's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Glackin throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Nopendi's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Nopendi advances into close range and lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
Nopendi lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Nopendi lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Glackin attempts to land a jab, but Nopendi slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Nopendi gets on the inside and hits home with a firm left hook.  
Nopendi lands a jab to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Nopendi advances into close range and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head, DROPPING GLACKIN TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  
The right shot from Nopendi could be enough to force the stoppage!  Nopendi lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a cross to the head.  He continues the combination and lands two straights followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, DROPPING GLACKIN TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  Glackin now seems to have his senses back.  
Nopendi advances into close range and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Nopendi lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Glackin lands a jab.  
Nopendi is on target with a cross.  
Nopendi gets on the inside and connects with a FEROCIOUS left uppercut.  GLACKIN IS HURT!  Glackin recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Glackin lands a hard jab.  
Glackin hits home with a cross.  
Nopendi sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a stinging cross.  
Nopendi advances into close range.  Glackin throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a mean left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE GLACKIN WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Glackin recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Glackin hits home with a firm left hook.  
Nopendi lands a stiff jab.  
Nopendi hits home with a right hook.  
Nopendi closes the distance.  Nopendi sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Glackin's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Glackin's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Nopendi lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head, AND SENDS GLACKIN SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 9.  
Nopendi walks Glackin down, trapping him on the ropes.  Nopendi lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Nopendi pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a FEARSOME left uppercut.  DOWN GOES GLACKIN!  THE COUNT REACHES 10, BUT GLACKIN IS UNABLE TO GET UP!  The winner by KO is Nopendi!
