Quito Licea vs Cortez Montiel

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Guatemala-Guatemala promoted show at Universidad Mariano Galvez, Guatemala City,  taking place on 15/10/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Central American Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on El Súper Canal, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Quito Licea (13 - 6(4) - 1) who hails from Villa Nueva, Guatemala and Cortez Montiel(14 - 1 - 2) from San Pedro Sula, Honduras.  Licea weighed in at 130 pounds, while Montiel weighed in at 129 pounds And 10 ounces.
