Hideki Sakai vs Nao Hirota

Boxing Daily Report from the Nishimiya Promotions promoted show at Nishimiya Gym, Ichinomiya,  taking place on 09/10/2028:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Hideki Sakai (2 - 0) who hails from Yokohama, Japan and Nao Hirota(4 - 12 - 3) from Saitama, Japan.  Sakai weighed in at 147 pounds, while Hirota weighed in at 146 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mitsuru Yoshikawa, and the three ringside judges are Raiden Sando, Hiro Hirabayashi and Hiro Hirabayashi.  

Round 1: 

Sakai steps inside and is on target with a right hook.  Sakai holds on to his opponent.  Sakai uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Hirota's kidney. 
Sakai closes the distance.  Hirota pivots to the right of his opponent.  Sakai lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Sakai clinches his opponent.  Sakai pushes his forearm into Hirota's face.  The referee warns Sakai and breaks the clinch.  
Sakai forces Hirota to back into the corner.  Sakai throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Sakai ties up his opponent.  Sakai leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Hirota pushes his forearm into Sakai's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Hirota attempts to land a jab, but Sakai slips the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Sakai advances into close range and lands two left hook's to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Sakai is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right hook.  
Sakai closes the distance.  Sakai quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.

Hirota tries to keep the action at long range.  Sakai lands an overhand left followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Sakai closes the distance and digs in a firm left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Sakai quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Sakai connects with a sharp right hook.  Sakai ties up his opponent.  Sakai is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Hirota pushes his forearm into Sakai's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Sakai lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Sakai manages to force Hirota onto the ropes.  Sakai lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Sakai advances into close range.  Hirota throws a right hook, but Sakai holds on to his opponent.  Sakai leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Sakai's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
