Abhay Purushothaman vs Azam Khatib

Boxing Daily Report from the Boxing forever promoted show at Akbar Shingada Gym, Kolkata,  taking place on 22/10/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the India-West Bengal Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Abhay Purushothaman (7 - 5 - 1) who hails from Kolkata, India and Azam Khatib(10 - 3) from Kolkata, India.  Purushothaman weighed in at 168 pounds, while Khatib weighed in at 167 pounds And 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mandeep Banerjee, and the three ringside judges are Mandeep Banerjee, Indra Narayanan and Gurudas Tewari.
