Joel Hamill vs Wayne Budge

Boxing Daily Report from the T5 Promotions promoted show at Auckland Cumby, Auckland,  taking place on 26/09/2028:

Clearly T5 Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joel Hamill (8 - 9 - 2) who hails from Waitakere, New Zealand and Wayne Budge(15 - 3 - 3) from Manukau, New Zealand.  Both Hamill and Budge weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Robert Haturini, and the three ringside judges are Opi Ngaikiha, Jack Hislop and Mark Kinzey.  

Round 1: 

Hamill advances into close range.  Hamill quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook.
