Rob Olatuga vs Yakubu Abedi

Boxing Daily Report from the Mbeki Promotions promoted show at Efe Obiajunwa Gym, Umuahia,  taking place on 25/10/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Nigeria-Abia State Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rob Olatuga (7 - 5(1) - 2) who hails from Umuahia, Nigeria and Yakubu Abedi(10 - 6 - 1) from Aba, Nigeria.  Both Olatuga and Abedi weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bature Adelakun, and the three ringside judges are Jay Onuegbu, Joe Emigo and Tunde Obode.  

Round 1: 

The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Abedi dabs at his face checking for damage.
