Peter Clay vs John Lay

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Robina Stadium, Gold Coast,  taking place on 23/12/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Oceania Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Peter Clay (13(2) - 1) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and John Lay(15(3) - 1(1)) from Perth, Australia.  Both Clay and Lay weighed in at 112 pounds.
