Dave Rydberg vs James Bold

Boxing Daily Report from the Rico Boxing Promotions promoted show at Max Ekman Gym, Columbus,  taking place on 02/10/2028:

Clearly Rico Boxing Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Ohio Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dave Rydberg (4 - 0) who hails from Cleveland, USA and James Bold(2 - 4(1) - 1) from Columbus, USA.  Rydberg weighed in at 114 pounds And 8 ounces, while Bold weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Colin Ploch, and the three ringside judges are Noah Anderberg, Dom Forbush and Wayne Cleary.  

Round 1: 

Rydberg closes the distance and drives a stinging right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Rydberg sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Bold throws a left hook, but Rydberg clinches his opponent.  Rydberg pushes his forearm into Bold's face.  The referee warns Rydberg and breaks the clinch.

Rydberg manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Rydberg lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Rydberg holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Rydberg pushes his forearm into Bold's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Rydberg lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Bold's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Bold's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.
