Dong-jun Shim vs Sung-yun Ro

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Korea-Daegu promoted show at Daegu Mah, Daegu,  taking place on 31/10/2028:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Korea-Daegu Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dong-jun Shim (15 - 9 - 3) who hails from Daegu, South Korea and Sung-yun Ro(20 - 2) from Daegu, South Korea.  Both Shim and Ro weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Min-hyeok Choo, and the three ringside judges are Sun-tae Oh, Sung-ryong Keng and Soo-il Kwan.  

Round 1: 

Ro closes the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Ro gets on the inside and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Ro is on target with a jab.  
Ro advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Ro pivots to the left of his opponent.  Ro lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Ro holds on to his opponent.  Ro pushes his forearm into Shim's face.  The referee warns Ro and breaks the clinch.  
Ro lands a cross to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.

Ro digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  As Ro tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Shim dabs at his face checking for damage.

Shim throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.
