Mick Carey vs Rex Maxwell

Boxing Daily Report from the Golden Boxing Promotions promoted show at Kieran Smolak Gym, Joliet,  taking place on 02/11/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Illinois Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mick Carey (9 - 7 - 1) who hails from Chicago, USA and Rex Maxwell(11 - 8 - 2) from Chicago, USA.  Both Carey and Maxwell weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Patrick Baker, and the three ringside judges are Mark Vincent, Barry Anderson and Sam Touch.  

Round 1: 

Carey throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents ribs.
