Ryo Osada vs Shinji Kuroda

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Osaka promoted show at Osaka Kusumoto, Osaka,  taking place on 02/11/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Osaka Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ryo Osada (13 - 8 - 2) who hails from Osaka, Japan and Shinji Kuroda(12 - 8 - 6) from Osaka, Japan.  Both Osada and Kuroda weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Satoru Muraoka, and the three ringside judges are Hisoka Kinoshita, Aoi Nishikawa and Yoshi Nakano.  

Round 1: 

Osada feints a jab, but Kuroda ignores the feint and is on target with a right uppercut to Osada's ribs.  
Osada is on target with a right hook.  Osada wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kuroda dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Kuroda advances into close range and walks Osada down, trapping him on the ropes.  Kuroda is on target with a left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kuroda's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Kuroda's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Kuroda is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.
