Tang Ca vs Nemesio Medero

Boxing Daily Report from the Ninja Warriors promoted show at Korakuen Hall, Tokyo,  taking place on 05/11/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Tang Ca (12(9) - 0) who hails from Haiphong, Vietnam and Nemesio Medero(3 - 4) from Davao City, Philippines.  Ca weighed in at 154 pounds, while Medero weighed in at 153 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Dai Fujita, and the three ringside judges are Ichiro Tsukamoto, Keiichi Iida and Daichi Noda.  

Round 1: 

Medero closes the distance.  Ca pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Ca strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Medero closes the distance.  Ca pivots to the side of his opponent.  Ca throws a left uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot.  Ca holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Ca pushes his forearm into Medero's face.  The ref breaks Ca's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Ca feints a cross, and then lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.

Medero is looking to close the distance and manouvers Ca onto the ropes.  Medero throws a right hook, but Ca holds on to his opponent.  Ca is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
