Ryuu Maekawa vs Rodrigo Ceron

Boxing Daily Report from the Ninja Warriors promoted show at Northeast Forestry University Gymnasium, Harbin,  taking place on 17/11/2028:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ryuu Maekawa (17(10) - 0) who hails from Amagasaki, Japan and Rodrigo Ceron(2 - 1 - 1) from Alicante, Spain.  Maekawa weighed in at 175 pounds, while Ceron weighed in at 174 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jin Sam, and the three ringside judges are Jun Ji, Chen Cheen and Ming Su.  

Round 1: 

Maekawa is looking to close the distance.  Ceron throws a left hook, but Maekawa holds on to his opponent.  Maekawa leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Maekawa pushes his forearm into Ceron's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Maekawa is on target with a CRUSHING right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE CERON WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Maekawa clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Maekawa pushes his forearm into Ceron's face.  The referee warns Maekawa and breaks the clinch.  Ceron recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Maekawa lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  Maekawa ties up his opponent.  Maekawa leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Maekawa manages to force Ceron into a neutral corner.  Maekawa lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Maekawa lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Maekawa clinches his opponent.  Maekawa is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Maekawa to stop fouling.  
Maekawa sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Ceron quickly recovers. 
Maekawa advances into close range.  Ceron throws a right uppercut, but the shot is blocked.  Maekawa holds on to his opponent.  Maekawa leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Maekawa lands a solid jab.  
Maekawa lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Maekawa lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Maekawa connects with a left hook.  
Maekawa lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Ceron quickly recovers.

Maekawa is on target with a FIERCE left hook.  CERON WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Ceron recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Maekawa manouvers his opponent into a neutral corner.  Maekawa quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Ceron throws a left hook, but Maekawa ties up his opponent.  Maekawa is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Ceron lands a cross.  
Maekawa lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Maekawa digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  Maekawa holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Ceron pushes his forearm into Maekawa's face.  The referee warns Ceron and breaks the clinch.  Maekawa tries to land a left hook, but Ceron blocks the shot and counters with a right hook to Maekawa's body.

Maekawa pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Maekawa lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.

Ceron steps inside and throws a left hook, but Maekawa clinches his opponent.  Maekawa is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Maekawa to stop holding.  
Maekawa connects with a cross.  Maekawa throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Ceron's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Ceron's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Ceron's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Ceron's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Ceron could be stopped here, if Maekawa can find the right shot!  Maekawa lands a right uppercut, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS CERON TO THE CANVAS!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Maekawa!
